At River Road, our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where children can connect with God, the world, and each other. Our River Road Kids programs offer vibrant and engaging opportunities designed to nurture spiritual growth and foster community among our youngest members:

River Road Kids Connect: Held at 10:00 AM, this program engages children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade in four-week lessons that inspire deeper faith and help apply God’s truth to their lives.

River Road Kids Church: Our River Road Kids Church provides a time for age-appropriate devotionals and disciple-building.

Nursery: Available for children ages 0 to preschool in Room 106, where our youngest members are cared for in a safe and loving environment during both the 9 AM and 11 AM services.

Safer Sanctuaries

We care about your child’s physical, spiritual, and emotional safety. Every team volunteer undergoes an application process that includes a background check, character references, and specific training for their role.

RRUMC Kids Music! ♫

Join us for the 2024-2025 season of children’s music at River Road United Methodist Church. This year’s program offers two choirs for children to participate in, depending on their age group:

Angel Choir: Ages 5-6

- Guided by Melissa West

Children’s Choir: Ages 7-12

- Directed by Joy Weaver

Rehearsals on Sundays at 12:15 PM from October to December in the Choir Room. There will be no rehearsal on November 24th due to Thanksgiving weekend.

Special Performances

Mark your calendars for these special performances:

- November 3rd: The choirs will sing during the 10:00 AM combined service.

- December 15th: The choirs will sing during the Children’s Christmas Program at the 11:00 AM service.
